OOTD – Whistles Jumpsuit

Forgive me bank account for I have caved…but look how beautiful it is.

Last week I found myself having an inner dialogue in the Whistles changing room on Oxford’s high street. I had found a loose wide leg jumpsuit, with navy and white stripes, and it was flattering to my figure – which is an area I have been struggling to have confidence with lately. So there I was looking in the mirror admiring this glorious jumpsuit and how it made me feel. Then low and behold I find its in the sale!

I checked the price tag, it was reduced from £130 to £90. Now working girl Paris, wouldn’t have a problem with that. I understand the quality of the garment that Whistles produce and it was technically £50 off. But I have just graduated and unemployed Paris found it a little harder to swallow. Yet, here I am typing up a blog post, sipping a smoothie in a cafe in George street all about this gorgeous jumpsuit from Whistles.

Not only is it extremely aesthetically pleasing to look at, its also exceedingly comfy. It’s also the perfect thing to wear in this type of weather. Having said that this is British weather and the heatwave will probably be over quicker than it began. Its also many outfits in one, tell me more of you’re imaginative rational thinking you say? Well, in the autumn I can put a shirt or top underneath, in winter a turtleneck, and I can put a jumper over the top. So its technically, a jumpsuit, overalls and culottes in one. Now who’s really winning.

I think this is one purchase you can skip the buyer’s remorse on – it’s a true classic! Navy stripes are forever and you’re right – it can work for winter too with a bit of layering! Loving how you styled it with a plait too, you’re giving me effortless resort chic!
