Ahhh January. The month where everyone is broke, and attempting that new diet and exercise regime. January is also the month where I struggle to stay away from the sales, and I know I’m not the only one. And I feel that I have done a pretty good job. Having said that, the one place I forgot to restrain myself was whilst in Whistles. Although can you blame me? Whistles has got to be my favourite high street brand out there. Whilst there slightly higher on the price bracket than other high street brands, their pieces are beautiful, chic clean and modern, and I can’t get enough.
WARNING: THIS POST WILL STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO SPEND ALL YOUR MONEY IN WHISTLES!
I have been in need of some good black jeans for a while now, so when I came across these bad boys in the SALE my hand and purse accidentally fell onto the till desk. This was then swiftly followed by a jumper simultaneously taking itself off the hanger and contorting itself into a neatly folded tissue covered package in my bag…
The coat however, was lovingly gifted to me from my brother – thanks H. And of course I haven’t taken it off since. I have quite a few longline coats, so to have a shorter throw on jacket is really versatile for lots of different occasions and outfits.
The below Whistles outfit is the sort of thing I would wear on a Saturday. The look is simple and classic, yet still appears really put together. Even the colours in the jumper use the classic colour palette that I love so much; blue, camel and navy. I also love how absolutely every element of my body is covered and then about 2-3 inches of ankle is shown, enough to shock the Victorians. There’s also something quiet french about the whole ootd, which makes me swoon.
I hope you like this outfit as much as I do, I haven’t been wearing much else!

P.S. Let me know if you love Whistles as much as I do!
